Features

Organized contacts with consent on record

Keep every customer in one list, segmented the way you work, with a clear record of their permission.

Tags & lists

Organize your contacts however your business actually segments customers.

Opt‑in/opt‑out logging

Every consent event is logged with a timestamp, method, and source. That's provable consent if Meta or a regulator ever asks, not just a checkbox you hope holds up.

How it works

From new contact to targeted campaign

Consent is captured at the start, so every later step rests on it.

  1. Step 01

    Add a contact

Save customers as they reach you, with their WhatsApp number and name.

  2. Step 02

    Record their consent

Log the opt-in with when it happened, how it was given and where it came from.

  3. Step 03

    Tag and group

Apply tags and add contacts to lists that match how you segment customers.

  4. Step 04

    Message the right people

Pick a tag or list when building a broadcast, and leave out anyone who opted out.

Why teams use it

Better targeting, lower risk

Clean, consented contact data protects your number and improves every campaign.

Proof when it's asked for

A timestamped consent record answers the question of who agreed, when and how, without digging through old forms.

Respect opt‑outs

Opt-outs are logged with the same detail as opt-ins, so you can see who no longer wants to hear from you before you send.

More relevant messages

Sending to the right tag or list means fewer blocks and reports, which keeps your quality rating healthy.

On the roadmap

Coming next as your list grows

Tools for teams managing larger and more varied contact lists.

Coming next: dynamic segmentation

Filter-based segments that update on their own as contact details change, next up as your contact list grows.

Coming next: CSV import with validation

Bulk contact import that checks numbers and fields before they land in your list.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you get started

Clear answers to the most common questions about WP Tool, the WhatsApp Business API, billing and support.

Why does WhatsApp opt‑in matter?
Meta's policy requires businesses to get a customer's permission before sending them business-initiated messages. Messaging people who didn't opt in leads to blocks and reports that hurt your quality rating.
What gets recorded for each consent event?
Every opt-in and opt-out is logged with a timestamp, the method used (for example a checkbox or a reply) and the source it came from.
What is the difference between tags and lists?
Tags are labels you apply to contacts, such as VIP or lead. Lists are groups of contacts you put together for a purpose, such as a campaign audience. Use either to choose who receives a broadcast.
Can I import contacts in bulk?
Bulk CSV import with validation is next on the roadmap. Until then, you can add contacts in the app or bring them in through integrations such as Google Sheets.
What happens when a contact opts out?
The opt-out is logged with its timestamp, method and source, and the contact's consent status changes, so you can leave them out of future broadcasts.
Can I segment contacts for a broadcast?
Yes. Choose a tag or list when you build a broadcast. Filter-based dynamic segments are next on the roadmap.
